Fireworks in the Karaka sales ring resulted in the half-brother to Lucky Sweynesse selling for $550,000 to the bid of Laming Racing & John White Bloodstock. Richard Laming was delighted to secure the well-related colt, while Manfred Man, trainer of the Hong Kong Champion Lucky Sweynesse, was the underbidder.

The Riversley Park team were thrilled when Lot 123, a Harry Angel gelding, sold for $85,000 to Richard Lim. ‘Harry’ as he is affectionately known is a staff horse, with four of the Riversely team having shares in him.
