THE COLLEGE HILL WINE ROOM - not technically a restaurant but they do serve delicious cheese and charcuterie, amongst other nibbles including an amazing steak tartare and delicious burger. As the name suggests, there's an extensive wine list with plenty of options by the glass as well as bottles you can buy from their retail selection and enjoy onsite. Let the team know you're here from Karaka so they can make your night extra special. There's also a stunning private dining room for groups up to 20 where you will be wowed by owners Dave Nash and Executive Chef Ryan Moore.

BISTRO SAINE - For those staying at, or near, the new Hotel Indigo, you're in for a treat. Bistro Saine is a casual, classic french bistro blending the warmth of a neighbourhood favourite with refined dining. From possibly Auckland's best 'steak frites' to a butterbean cassoulet that is rich and delicious, as well as classics like steak tartare and comté tart. Reservations recommended.
FLUSH GOLF - Britomart. Don't let the name put you off! Flush is a new, high tech, indoor golf club with five simulator bays offering some of the best courses in the world, as well as fun games for the less die-hard golf fan. Food from the team behind NSP meaning the pizzas are exceptional! Reservations recommended with bays starting at $60/hour. Clubs also available to hire.
There are many more great spots around Auckland including Ebisu and Azabu for excellent Japanese, Grand Harbour and Ghost Street for traditional Chinese, White + Wongs for busy, vibrant Asian cuisine, and Gochu for the best Korean Fried Chicken in town. Also check out Captain's Bar at Park Hyatt for their rum-based cocktails, Esther and the Rooftop at QT Hotel, just off the waterfront in the Viaduct, and the new Queens Rooftop for breathtaking views of the Waitemata Harbour. Last but by no means least, there's a large food court within Commercial Bay too which is great for a quick bite.
