Simms Davison is delighted with the quality and consistency of the weanlings Armory has produced and is looking forward to seeing how they are received both as weanlings and as yearlings looking ahead to Karaka 2025.
2024 National Weanling Sale | First Season Sire - The Chosen One
Son of Savabeel and first season sire The Chosen One stands at The Oaks Stud in Cambridge in conjunction with Milan Park Stud, and his first crop of weanlings are set to debut in the Karaka sales ring at the NZB National Weanling Sale on Thursday 20th June. Renowned as an honest and sound athlete, The Oaks Stud’s Rick Williams is confident The Chosen One’s excellent temperament will show in his progeny and is looking forward to seeing how they make their first impressions at both the Weanling Sale and also this summer at Karaka 2025.
2024 National Weanling Sale | First Season Sire - Sword of State
Cambridge Stud’s first season sire Sword of State is the most represented stallion in the upcoming NZB National Weanling Sale, with 12 lots featuring in a range of drafts from renowned farms. Scott Calder explained that the young sire, who was Champion NZ 2YO and known for his speed and precocity on the track, appears to be passing those early traits on to his young stock.
