2007 Ready To Run Sale Catalogues Out Now

Catalogues for�New Zealand Bloodstock's�two-day Ready to Run Sale of 2YOs (on 20 & 21 November) went in the post today, with the catalogue also now available online.
On the back of a�string of outstanding performances by Karaka Ready to Run Sale graduates over the past season, the 2007�catalogue�has attracted the largest number of entries for this Sale in recent years, with quality to match.
Four Group 1 winners last season - ABLE ONE, DONNA ROSITA, ESKIMO QUEEN &�MAGIC CAPE - �were offered at this Sale, with two (Able One and Eskimo Queen) also represented by half-relatives at this year's showcase event.
Amongst the�403 entries there are over 140 individual stallions represented, with the hottest of Australian and New Zealand sire talent on display. Local sires such as O'Reilly, Pentire, Pins, Stravinsky, Volksraad and Zabeel are represented alongside Australian stars Encosta de Lago,��Elusive Quality, Flying Spur, Rock of Gibraltar, Tale of the Cat and a host of other proven and promising sires.
Highlights include:
- Full or half relatives to more than 25 stakes winners including seven Group 1 winners: Able One, Dress Circle, Eskimo Queen, Joker's Wild, Maroofity, Russian Pearl and Zola.
- Relatives to�current stakes performers including Astronomia, Antarctic Miss and�Alamosa.
- Two-year-olds from the families of top�racehorses�such as�Headturner,�Fiumicino, Makybe Diva, Snitzel�and�Seachange.
- Entries by emerging sires such as Choisir, Don Eduardo, Galileo, Johannesburg, Jungle Pocket, Keeper, No Excuse Needed, Van Nistelrooy and Viking Ruler, plus those with their first southern crops just hitting the track including Captain Rio, Dubai Destination, Exceed and Excel, Falbrav, Reset, Spartacus and Thorn Park.
- Plus representation from a broad range of successful sires including Black Minnaloushe, Commands, Danasinga,�Faltaat, Fusaichi Pegasus, Istidaad, More Than Ready, Postponed, Red Ransom, Rory's Jester, Show A Heart, Testa Rossa, Towkay and more.
Breeze Ups for the 2007 Sale will take place at the Te Rapa racecourse on 25 & 26 October, where horses will be filmed and timed galloping�down the�final 200 metre of the straight. CD-Roms and DVDs of the breeze up clips will be available from New Zealand Bloodstock from 1 November. They can also be viewed in New Zealand Bloodstock's flat screen 'cyber-cafe' on saleday.
