All You Need to Know for the 2024 National Weanling Sale

The weanlings have arrived on site, final inspections are underway and the countdown is on for the 2024 National Weanling Sale. Now is the time to finalise your short lists, complete your last-minute research and register to bid to ensure a smooth auction experience before selling kicks off this Thursday 20 June from 11am at Karaka.

Here is some information and helpful tools to assist you in purchasing your next investment or racetrack star.
 

PARADES & INSPECTIONS

Weanlings have arrived, with first parades underway here at the Karaka Sales Complex.
 

BUYER REGISTRATION

It is important to check in on arrival at the Sale Day office prior to bidding. For existing account holders or previous purchasers, simply pop in to the Sale Day Office to get your registration sticker. New buyers can register online here, or for online bidding registration visit bidonline.nzb.co.nz.
 

SALES PAVILION

The world-renowned Karaka Sales Centre provides the perfect backdrop for buyers.
Along with quality stock on offer, delicious Kiwi food and barista-made coffee is available from the Garden Bar cafe, or pop across to the DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka and check out their signature Horseshoe Bar and Ethereal Restuarant. 

BROADCAST

The Sale will be streamed live on our website, online bidding and NZB's Facebook page. For those in NZ watching via TV, tune in to Freeview Channel 200.
We will also be showing interviews, behind the scenes and highlights throughout the sale.
 

KARAKA TV

If you miss the live action, catch all the highlights and interviews from our Sale TV channel, including pre-sale content such as first season sire previews.
Lot-by-lot sale ring footage will also be available here soon after selling.

AIRFREIGHT, INSURANCE & AUCTION SERVICES

Once you have made a purchase, every aspect can be managed by NZB including airfreight, transport, agistment, insurance, finance and Karaka Millions entries.
