An imposing and masculine individual standing 16.1hh, Edenwold, like More Than Ready, is by Southern Halo out of a Mr. Prospector line mare. More Than Ready is out of a Woodman (Mr. Prospector x Playmate, by Buckpasser) mare, and Edenwold out of a Mining (Mr. Prospector x I Pass, by Buckpasser) mare.
The similarities do not end there with Edenwold and More Than Ready both winning US$1,000,000 on the racetrack after sensational juvenile seasons (Edenwold was crowned Champion Canadian 2YO) before staking Classic success in their three-year-old year.

As the sire of the past two Group 1 Golden Slipper winners (Phelan Ready and Sebring), More Than Ready as been crowned Australia's Champion 2YO Sire the past couple of years.
Displaying the ability to produce juveniles who 'go on', More Than Ready is represented by More Joyous (Group 1 AJC Flight Stakes), Perfectly Ready (Group 1 Goodwood Handicap), and Benicio (Group 1 VRC Derby) who all performed at stakes level as juveniles before going on to claim higher honours at three and four.

In New Zealand the Southern Halo influence has also been felt. Group 1 bound Nacho Man (Mr Nancho (Southern Halo) established himself amongst New Zealand's best juvenile colts when thrashing the Listed Matamata Slipper field by two lengths just a fortnight ago. Being out of The Jogger mare El Coriero, Nacho Man is bred on the same cross as Lot 1 and Lot 18 at the Selwyn River Stud Sale.
South Island based My Halo (Southern Halo) has earned his sire-line a large number of supporters through the deeds of his progeny on the racetrack. A sire of over 63% winners to runners, My Halo's stock have performed at the highest level in New Zealand (My Astron and O'Cartier), Singapore (Beau Brummell), and Macau (Ka Lam Fortune).
Perfectly Ready (More Than Ready) is another NZ-based Southern Halo line sire who has been well received by the market with his weanlings and yearlings finding plenty of favour in the auction ring where his progeny have sold up to $290,000. Many good judges purchased his stock whom they expect to show plenty of speed next season as juveniles.
