Entries for New Zealand Bloodstock's Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale at Karaka (3 August) close this Friday 1 June.

This is the last auction opportunity of the year for the northern region, so don't miss this useful trading option.

Open to broodmares, yearlings, two-year-olds, raced & unraced horses and stallion shares, the 2011 Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale saw the Sale average increase 32% to $10,360 for the 97 entries catalogued.

Last year's Sale was topped by the Group 2 Matamata Breeders' Stakes winner Naturo (Postponed) who was purchased by Jamieson Park from Willowbank Stud for $200,000.

Entries for the Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale are $400 + GST per horse.
