Karaka Million Nominations Close Today

There are just hours to go before nominations close for New Zealand Bloodstock's 2013 Karaka Million Race Series, with the deadline at 5pm (NZ time) today.

All yearlings sold at New Zealand Bloodstock's 2012 National Yearling Sales Series at Karaka are eligible to enter to compete for the lucrative $1 million Karaka Million as a two-year-old - the richest race in New Zealand - and the Karaka 3YO Mile as a three-year-old, both of which carry black-type status.

Horses must be nominated for the Series by 5pm today, with a one-off payment of $1,750 + GST due by Monday 30 April at 5pm. Any horse may be withdrawn from the Karaka Million Series before 5pm today without charge, but an entry fee shall remain payable for any horse withdrawn after this deadline.
