NZBI New Sponsor for Auckland Awards Night

New Zealand Bloodstock Insurance and its London Brokers and Underwriters are the new sponsors of this year's Annual Racing Awards conducted by the Auckland Branch of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association.

The dinner event at Ellerslie this Sunday Night will be hosted by Director of Racing at Ellerslie, Butch Castles. There will be a live auction on the night which will include one entry to this year's National Yearling Sales Series at Karaka donated by New Zealand Bloodstock.

New Zealand Bloodstock Insurance's sponsorship continues the relationship which has been developed between New Zealand Bloodstock Insurance and the Auckland Branch over the past six years through sponsorship of their annual Golf Tournament.

Insurance Manager, Jim Bruford confirmed his team's commitment to this event: "We are very proud to be sponsoring the Auckland Branch Awards dinner this year. This forms part of an extensive initiative by New Zealand Bloodstock Insurance, and supported by our Underwriters, to help breeders, trainers and owners get more value from their industry. It is important to promote and develop the great potential we have in New Zealand and recognising the stand-out breeding successes throughout the past season at an event such as this is a great way to do that."

New Zealand Bloodstock Insurance and its brokers and underwriters are major sponsors of New Zealand racing. Together they sponsor a total of eight races around the country, including the Group II Championship Stakes for 3yo fillies.
