Quality Amidst Expert Vendors at NZB Ready to Run Sale
12 November 2015
The 2015 New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run Sale will feature 59 expert vendors and their quality drafts of two-year-olds.
NZB’s Ready to Run Sale has established itself as the leading Sale of its kind in Australasia through proven racetrack results. The past six seasons have seen 107 stakes wins by graduates of the Sale, with a further seven stakes races won this season including two Group 1 victories to complement the already 12 Group 1 wins since the start of the 2012/13 racing season.
The success of the Sale is in large credit to vendors, with the kiwi consignors’ specialisation in the preparation of juveniles a key factor to their early education.
Returning to the top of the leading vendor list at last year’s edition of the Sale was Lyndhurst Farm after its six-year reign ended in 2013. Graduates from Lyndhurst Farm include Albany Reunion (Fastnet Rock), Atlante (Fastnet Rock) and Glorious Days (Hussonet), all Group 1 winners in recent seasons.
