Southern Bonus Race Entries Close Today

Entries for New Zealand Bloodstock's inaugural $50,000 Southern Bonus Race for graduates of the South Island Sale's two-year-old session, close today at 5pm.

Carrying a $50,000 Bonus, to be awarded to the first qualified graduate past the post, New Zealand Bloodstock's Southern Bonus Race will be held on 14 November 2012 at Riccarton Park, Christchurch.

The race will be an open three-year-old event over 1400 metres with qualified Southern Bonus Race graduates holding preference in field selection over non-qualified horses.

Of the $50,000 Bonus, $40,000 shall be paid to the owners of the horse on raceday, with $5,000 paid to the trainer and $5,000 to the person(s) who owned the Bonus-winning horse at the time of Sale.

Entries for the Southern Bonus Race must be submitted to New Zealand Bloodstock, and paid in full, by 5pm today. Entries for the race are $250 + GST per horse so don't delay in being part of the action!
