Strong Field for Seventh Leg of NZB’s Filly of the Year Series

The seventh leg of New Zealand Bloodstock’s Filly of the Year Series will run this Saturday at Te Rapa with the Group 2 $100,000 Cambridge Stud Sir Tristram Fillies Classic (2000m).

This leg of the 10 race Series features 13 fillies looking to accumulate points towards the coveted NZB Filly of the Year title in the 2015-16 season.
The winner of the Group 2 $100,000 Cambridge Stud Sir Tristram Fillies Classic will earn 8 Series points with second place earning 4 points and third 2 points.
The field includes three winners from this season’s NZB Filly of the Year Series so far. Coldplay (NZ) (Savabeel) won the Group 3 Eulogy Stakes, Capella (NZ) (Rip Van Winkle) won the Group 2 Eight Carat Classic and Duchess Kate (NZ) (Savabeel) the latest leg, the Group 3 Desert Gold Stakes.
