Vincent Mangano Heads Order of Entry for 2008 Karaka Million

There are justover six weeks until the inaugural running of New Zealand Bloodstock's new one million dollar incentive race, with three-time winner Vincent Mangano heading the order of entry for the 2008 Karaka Million.
With the final starting line-up determinedin order ofgross prize money won,there are currently61 two-year-olds with prize money to their credit and therefore one step closer to a start in the big race.
A maximum field of 14 Karaka graduates will contest the one million dollar prize poolat the Karaka Million Twilight Meeting onSunday 27th January. The Auckland Racing Club's Ellerslie racecourse is set to host the six-race card, with the first race scheduled for 4:30pm on the eve of the Karaka Premier Sale.

All yearlings sold at the 2008 National Yearling Sales Series will once again be eligible toenter Karaka's one million dollar two-year-old incentive race. This year the entry fee will also permit owners to nominate their Karaka graduates for the new $200,000 Karaka 3YO Mile in 2010.
