Final day of NZB’s National Weanling, Broodmare & Mixed Bloodstock Sale Today

Today is the last day of New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Weanling, Broodmare & Mixed Bloodstock Sale, commencing at 11am with the final 185 lots plus six supplementary entries to go through the ring.

The National Broodmare Sale commences at the start of the day with 182 broodmares catalogued. A further five broodmares have been entered in the supplementary catalogue to be offered after Lot 592, at the end of the broodmare session. The day concludes with four stallion shares being offered, including one supplementary entry.

The National Weanling Sale concluded yesterday with an increased aggregate of $3,028,300, selling at a healthy clearance rate of 80%. The average was $12,113 and a median of $4,000 was recorded among the 250 lots sold from the 350 weanlings catalogued.

The mixed bloodstock sessions also took place yesterday featuring Dancer’s Tale, Lot 403, in the racehorse section selling for $120,000 to Bruce Perry Bloodstock.
