Supplementary Catalogue Available for NZB National Weanling, Broodmare & Mixed Bloodstock Sale

Nine supplementary entries have been added to New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Weanling, Broodmare & Mixed Bloodstock Sale (11-13 May).

The supplementary catalogue will feature one weanling by freshman sire Burgundy who is out of a Centaine mare and is a half-sister to stakes placegetter, Poetic Music (Stravinsky) (Lot 596).

In addition to the 15 racehorse entries, two more have been entered through the supplementary catalogue, including Lot 597 – Kiss Like This, by Denman out of stakes winner Fairy Gem (Viscount), winner of the Listed Australia Day Cup, and Lot 598 – Frock, by Road to Rock out of stakes placegetter Mya (Desert King), who is a half-sister to Group 2 winner She Will Be Loved (Strategic) and stakes placegetter Thorn Dancer (Thorn Park).

Among the five broodmare entries in the supplementary catalogue are two by Volksraad (Lot 599 & Lot 600). Lot 601 is by Bering and is a half-sister to two stakes winners, including Group 1 winner Crowded House (Rainbow Quest), and Lot 602, by Rock of Gibraltar, and Lot 603, by Any Suggestion, are both from stakes producing families.

The last entry of the Sale is a stallion share in Alamosa (Lot 604), son of champion sire O’Reilly.
