Group 1 Bloodstock purchased Lot 195, a Pierro colt out of Fastnet Rock Mare Mary Lou for a healthy price of $625,000.

2021 Ready to Run - Dean Hawthorne

Lot 238 went under the virtual hammer for $400,000. The colt by popular sire Deep Field out of Petit Cheval was purchased by agent Dean Hawthorne in partnership with Hong Kong buyer Ricky Yiu from Riversley Park.

The highest priced two-year-old on Day One was Lot 107, a colt by prolific sire Savabeel out O’Reilly mare Etiquette (NZ). The juvenile will join the tangerine team’s stable, after David Ellis secured him for a $640,000 price tag from Ohukia Lodge’s draft.

Expat kiwis Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young are no strangers to Group One successes out of NZB’s #ReadytoRun Sale. The pair purchased Ohukia Lodge’s Lot 73, a #SacredFalls colt out of #CherylMoanaMarie for $300,000 while bidding from across the Tasman.
